Thanks Louisianafanrcajun90, appreciate the kind words. We like to think of ourselves as "The best kept secret in Texas." Though we still have a ways to go, I wanna believe that Fran's got us movin' in the right direction . . . time will tell, Glad to be in the Belt.

Considering that Fran has just two years (starting his 3rd this year) of building an FBS program from an FCS one under his belt, the win over USM was much appreciated and welcomed. I do feel we're on the path to building a good FBS team... And yes, it's great to be in the Belt.

Well, I REALLY hate to toot my own horn but I have been convinced that Texas State was going to be a fine addition since they were announced. With that stadium, their location and the ability to sign legit FBS recruits they have a lot of potential.
We all know that Ga. So. and App. should be better out of the gate than many who have moved up. Honestly, I was impressed with Ga. State's performance in game 1 as I expected and established FCS team like Samford to run all over them. I am cautiously optimistic about the Panthers now.
NMSU was giving me a lot of hope until right before halftime and Idaho still has a LOT of work to do.

Thanks. Y'all stayed in the game despite the turnovers. We have a way to go on offense but y'all have the pieces in place to succeed this season. Hope you pull a win out of your next three games. I think you hired a coach that will really make y'all good again.
