I had read some rumors about interactions between Lance Thomas and the O$U folks during the Roundball Classic this past weekend. Now some poster on another board is claiming that he has "sources" who indicate Thomas will be visiting there soon. Does anyone really doubt any more given the track record that money is being floated by Suckeyes boosters?
I guess if him going there helps Eugene Harvey to decide to come to UC then so be it.
Thomas seems to be enjoying stringing along various programs, the word is now he won't sign until May. I still think he ends up at Duke.
I just hope Harvey signs before Thomas does, otherwise we are in for a very long month.
if we get harvey, and i know that's kind of a big if, is there any chance of tugging thomas with? or is it only other way around
Mick and his staff have promised to leave no rock unturned. I would think that includes at least sounding out the situation for any Parade All-Americans left whose teammate and buddy they are currently heavily recruiting.
I said in a post about Thomas shortly after Mick was hired that we would at least have something to offer the kid in that he's expressed a desire to go to engineering school and then become an architect. UC has a combination of those two areas comparable to any program in the country.
What an awesome start it would be if they could pull off recruiting magic of that magnitude.

with the change in deans at those colleges - who knows the status of the quality of them.
Big East playing time - strong future growth for the team - why wouldn't he want to join UC?
