EMU is doing a lot of thing right to promote this game and new students events at the Convo.
UM is hammering CMU so maybe a few more people will get off their couches and come to the game.

The OL isn't doing much. That was a fear, big fear going into the game. Lot of newcomers playing like Collins, Hurcombe, Wylie, etc.
Best I can tell is that Benz will try to use the passing game to open up the run game. Hill needs some running lanes.
EMU didn't blitz much until later in the 2nd second qtr.
Our WRs and TEs playing very well.
Special teams doing well other than the blocked PAT.

The defense blows which is alarming.
Couldn't ask for a worse start to the half. Howard marches right down the field, plus English burns a time out.
Why our corners are playing 10 yards off the receivers is beyond me. They are killing us with those short passes.
Defense is a sieve. No pass rush or ability to cover anyone. The run defense is mediocre. This is why Ron English will be unemployed come the Sunday after the last game.
I just don’t get how DC can continuously field such horrible defense? You would think he could at least teach them sound technique and fundamentals, but he cannot even do that.

I thought so too at first, but the replay showed it was helmet to helmet. Stupid play by Coleman.
Good response by the offense. I like Parrish's play calling a lot today.
The defense needs to wake up now. Not holding my breath.
