The latest Rivals article about unsigned guys does not give me any warm and fuzzy that Eugene Harvey is a realistic option for UC. It says, as has been mentioned many times before, that he and Lance Thomas would like to play together at Rutgers. And now that Lance Thomas is taking his time to decide between Duke and Rutgers (maybe into May), I see that hurting. Additionally they only mention Illinois and Maryland as other possible destinations for Harvey.

Regarding Tyler Smith, it did say that Pitt is his likely destination. However, IF he doesn't sign this week, then he may be listening to schools who just had coaching changes (mentions Cincinnati and UAB).
I am thinking that Marvin Kilgore AND Deonta Vaughn (assumes his ACT score from the 8th turns out okay) may be the best combination that we can hope for at PG for now.
I'm pretty sure that that is a fairly old article.

Nope, dated today and makes mention of what Lance Thomas' uncle/guardian just said yesterday regarding his recruitment.
Your right I just saw the article.
We just can't seem to catch the big break right now.......dang it.
This class is either going to end up semi-respectable, or just flat our horrible. My bet is on horrible.

How freakin' long does Thomas need? He's had over a year to make a choice.
According to today's Newark Star Ledger Harvey is considering an official visit to Cincinnati.
Let the emotional roller coaster commence. Fingers crossed.
"In another St. Benedict's update that can't be good news for Rutgers, the same person indicated point guard Eugene Harvey, who has been interested in reuniting with Thomas at Rutgers, is considering making an official visit to Cincinnati. Harvey, named to The Star-Ledger's All-Prep Team, already has visited Rutgers and Southern California. "

It's was reported to be more than "considering", I think he has a visit scheduled for this week. The problem is he and Thomas seem to be attached at the hip, he probably won't make a decision until Lance does.

Fair point lmfao I deleted all the "yelling" as well.
That was yelling? I thought you were just typing in large font to help out our older members of the board.
And I appreciate it.

Jerry Meyer said today on Rivals Radio that he would be surprised if Thomas doesn't go to Duke. Add in, that I've heard that Florida and possibly OSU are trying to get involved with Lance Thomas, and I'd consider that good news on the Harvey front. Of course, we don't really know what is going on, and his uncle said he's not going to sign until May, so only time will tell.
