So, since I no longer live in Birmingham, I'm seriously considering getting All Access before tomorrows game.

A couple of questions: Is it worth it? Does is work for away games?

I can't get ESPN3 tomorrow because where I live our only option for internet service is CenturyLink and they have not been able to reach an agreement with ESPN3, so they do not allow access to the service.

So, as I start my first football season outside of Birmingham (or even within driving distance), I'm weighing my options. I would love your opinions.
i had it for years...every year i thought, "it has to be better this year." i finally cancelled it a couple years ago and have decided that i may resubscribe if i go a season without people complaining about it. so far, hasnt happened. i currently have no interest or intention of subscribing.

to specifically answer your questions:
is it worth it? i think not
does it work for away games? some...if you go to the schedule at uabsports.com, you'll see a "gametracker" and a "listen" link. if theres scheduled to be allaccess video, there will be another link that says "watch"...if there isnt one, there will be no video. if there is such a link, there may or may not be video. i dont see one for tomorrows game (i believe games on espn3 cant be picked up on all access, but im not positive)

to be fair, there are others that disagree
Well w/ it being espn3, would you be able to watch video through somewhere on the espn website online or would that be part of the conflict mentioned? I know you'll be a ble to listen to it through 107.7fm online provided no r&b stars die late afternoon or during the game. As others have said it ain't easy bleeding green

Dumb question, if you go to a Starbucks or McDonald's and use their wi-fi, I assume it will still be CenturyLink? Maybe they might have a different provider so you could get ESPN3?
Yeah, we're rural southeastern NC...while there are places with wifi I can go to, CenturyLink has the monopoly in our little area.

I even have Dish Network and their little internet anywhere this is a total sham...they told me that they don't service our area. Still not sure how that's possible, but whatever.
I've had All Access for several years and plan on keeping it. I think it has become more reliable than in past years. It used to be pretty hit and miss but is much more predictable now. Rarely is a game not shown that's supposed to be shown. That's my experience anyway.

You might start to question yourself why $9.95 is hitting your debit/credit card every month during the off season (March-August), but be patient. You'll make up for it during September-February, especially since you are out of town and won't be able to attend any games in person. Good luck.
firstrowsports.eu
cover every games except the one on css
for the css games something they are on all access
example: allaccess subscription provides video to the indiana/uab soccer game. since its 30 minutes into the game an gametracker says the game hasnt started, i can only assume that the video also isn't running yet. im irritated...i'd be a lot more irritated if i had paid for it

I bought a yearly subscription last November. I won't be renewing.
I cancelled a long time ago.
Gametracker never came on for the game last night. There was a "watch" link for video...I assume it never came on either
I think a lot of problems are UAB related.
