RS junior Chaz Green will miss the upcoming season due to a torn labrum. Green started 10 games last year at RT. I haven't seen this reported before. Looks like it is breaking just today.

The guy taking his place is a transfer from Nebraska...who happened to start as a true freshman. Must be nice to have that kind a depth.

It sure must be....setbacks like these doesn't hurt elite programs nearly as much as it does teams that must develop or take a chance on most of their prime talent.
The replacement may be talented, but he hasn't been getting the reps with the 1st team until now that he needs. He has less than 5 days to prepare as a starter, with partner (RG) also a replacement.

Agree - the question is how in sync with this OL be working together. Coach Muschamp has a boat load of talent just not talent which has established itself as a cohesive unit...yet.

Good points. I will be very interested to see how our D line does against the FLA and Missouri O-lines. We have some talent, but it will be stiff competition even just considering the strength and athleticism, let alone any cohesiveness. Hopefully Marquis Moore is ready to play! Talk about trial by fire...
