My name is Bob Terry and I'm a Dekalb firefighter and Huskie fan. From now until the end of October we are selling t shirts to benefit a local vet. Our goal is to give a car to a local wounded vet at the November 13th game. The shirts feature the huskie logo on the left sleeve and are $15, $20 with shipping. All work beside t shirt manufacturers is done on a volunteer basis, so be assured your money is going to a vet, not any company. The link below will give a better story of how this came about and how to order. Go Huskies, see you in Iowa! http://iaff1236.blogspot.com/?m=0

You should sell these at the home opener.
We are looking into that. Right now, VCB controls all sales at football games...
Very nice!
Do you have these in kids sizes? My son would love this shirt.

Never mind I see they are offered

Sell them on the curb or back seat of a van in the east tailgating sections. Keep us inform on where we could find you.
We have kids and women's sizes. We will be selling them at cornfest and other local events also. Thanks for the positive feedback, it would be awesome to give a car away at the game two days after veterans day.
I say sell them on game day. No one in their right mind would throw a fit or go after someone or a group raising money for this cause. If they do...the publicity would be huge and it would only help, in my opinion. Just a thought.

You'd be surprised. VCB doesn't give a ****. We got shut down for selling 2/14 memorial t-shirts less than a year after the tragedy, so I doubt this would be treated any differently. VCB literally carted us off the property, walked with us until we stepped off and then stood there and made sure we didn't come back.
We are trying to do this the right way and not upset anyone. Also, I will be wearing my shirt Friday in Iowa city so if you see me come say hi.
I am sure Fattys would allow you to sell them there.

Then he should set up a stand and sell them on the sidewalk in front of VCB. VCB does not control public sidewalks. Of course, you'd probably need a permit from NIU, and since VCB owns NIU, that may be difficult.

Please don't mention "pull" and the Grotto in the same post. With the pull I recently had there, I'm still sore.
