So we are taking Big Blue, the band, the cheerleaders, the dance team, 1,000 or so students and 2 to 3,000 fans to the ECU game. Has anyone heard if we are going to have a pre-game Pep Rally somewhere outside the stadium before the game? I know various folks will have there own tailgating parties and probably there will be an ODU hospitality tent somewhere but before the 12th Monarchs are divided up all over ECU's stadium is there any plan to get our "Pride" of ODU Monarchs together?

I haven't heard anything yet about that. I know the band is going, and we will be performing at halftime (although ECU only allowed us 4 min on and off the field, so it'll be short).

Yeah, despite the amount of allocated time, I think it's going to be a really fun show. The whole band is really excited about the ECU trip.
When I got my confirmation email from Venture Tours it said there is going to be an "Alumni Event" at 5:00. It didn't elaborate, but I'm assuming it's going to be near the Belk lot (near baseball stadium) and will probably be similar to the one at Georgia Southern with food and a variety of beverages available.

Yea, its $30 for the buffet at the Alumni Event.
Glad for the Alumni Event etc. but I still like the idea that ALL the ODU fans, even those that didn't pay $30.00 to eat (which I would assume will not include the students and the band) have say a 15 minute pep rally somewhere outside the stadium before the game. Just a field where ALL could gather with the band and cheerleaders. The band plays the fight song, the cheerleaders do a cheer, 3-4 thousand (however many 12th Monarchare there) cheer our ODU chant a few times and then we go into the stadium. Again, I just think it would be nice for all of us to get together for our 1st ever FBS game before we go into a 50,000 stadium and are divided up all over it. WE need to get our game hats on as 12th Monarchs. Go ODU!
