What are the tailgating options for ECU? Are there any lots that we can get into? I'm coming down with 4 friends on Friday night & staying over Saturday night as well. I'm just trying to sure up party options for the afternoon.

Check out the tents from Austin Millbarge and Emmitt Fitz-Hume. I hear they party like its the end of the world.

The Bar-Kays will be performing their smash hit, Soulfinger, live, too.

I'm hoping that I don't drink too much that afternoon, or I may sustain radical vertical impact.

We'll be in the Harris Teeter lot. At least that's what we all agreed on. Probably won't change.

Do they charge for that lot? And do grocery stores sell alcohol in Greenville? That might be a win-win.

Not sure about the price. But yes they do. Just not liquor. And you can buy alcohol till 2 am in NC!

Might be changing locations. The titter doesn't allow tents. Grills yes. My buddy is scouting a location now.

If you get to the Harris Teeter parking lot early enough you can park on the isle that runs next to 14th street...There are some very nice shade trees that run along this isle and it provides a nice area to set-up your grille and chairs.

There are two lots located at the Belk Bldg cost is $20. Lots open 5 hours prior top game time. It's about a 15 minute walk 3/4 of a mile to the stadium. These are paved lots with ample space tailgate. The sports complex is all on campus. Across Greenville Blvd is Colonial Mall you cam park there too for $20.







There are six major Pirate Fan tailgating areas you'll have a great time just walking thru them. Trust me you'll have more than enough to eat and drink. It's a great gameday atmosphere.

One thing for sure you'll see some crazy Pirate fans. This is 2009 the year before the endzone expansion.

Here is a good aerial of our Sports Complex taken last month. It will give you a feel for the parking/tailgating area. We're very fortunate to have the land for this on campus facility.

Thanks for the info!! Getting even more amped as I just saw a bunch of friends from the Outer Banks (KDH and Wrightsville) are making the journey. One of my buddies went to ODU for his undergrad and got his masters at ECU so I'm trying to talk him into cutting shirts in half and sewing them as he's torn on who to represent. Of course I said he has to root for ODU, that's his undergrad! =]

Almost forgot to ask: is there any restaurant in Grreenville that shows the UFC? Brad Vera (former ODU wrestler) is fighting Ben Rothwell. Would like to catch it after the game.
