Is it a one day up and back or an overnight trip?
It's a there and back again day trip.

Always appropriate.
At $75 a person, I'm not sure it's worth it for anybody that can carpool and share a hotel.

For a group of 4 (non-NAS), that's $300. Could be a very doable weekend trip. Football for the husbands, shopping for the wives.
Considering I paid like 60 or 70 for my 4 seats and were splitting gas in a mini cooper. My way I think is gonna be cheaper

The price includes your ticket, which we were told was $40. If you are a member you will be hard pressed to travel up and back on $20 dollars per person. If not, and you carpool with 4 others then you might come out ahead... but not by the IRS standard mileage rate.

Our NAS is not making money on this.

I'm not accusing NAS of making any money, wouldn't even care if they were. The main benefit of this trip would be not having to drive.
I was saying that it's probably cheaper than may people think to make a trip out of it.

It costs me $54 round trip to drive to Vanderbilt in my car. Tickets are as cheap as $6 on Stubhub and you can get 50 yard line seats for $12-14 a piece plus shipping.

Assuming all the fees and shipping makes it $20 a ticket.

$80 for tickets ($20 each x 4 people)
$54 for gas
$150 hotel (could be more, could be less)

That would make the cost for an overnight trip not including food/attractions at:

$71 per person

Yes lol did you ever get an update on your tickets bud?
Me and the lady got a two night stay at a pretty nice hotel for under $200, thanks to expedia. Two tickets with shipping and fees was just under $40. They are on the 50 yardline too. The only thing that sucks is driving to and from. But we are making a weekend trip out of it.

Not yet, but I'm not quite ready to panic.
I'll be making a weekend of it with some fraternity brothers of mine. I will say that the bus trip to UNC last year was a steal.

If you don't get them in the next day or two, you may want to panic. Mine came yesterday by 2nd day UPS air mail. Since many of us got our tickets yesterday, it's very possible your tickets were sent a day later on the UPS plane that went down this morning.

Also, you may want to check your e-mail for it. I received an e-mail a few days ago that they had been shipped.
the other benefit is being in a section with UAB fans
I haven't gotten any email since the order confirmation. If I haven't gotten them by next week, I'll send a polite email as to their status.

section T row 42? It was supposed to be shipped UPS so I'll send an email sometime soon too.

All these seats come from different sellers too. so you never know when they'll get around to shipping them
I am told not many spots left on bus.

Every bus trip I have been on has been well worth it just for the camaraderie alone. Can relax, etc and don't have to worry about driving or helping the driver navigate, etc. Very stress free.

Actually there are no hotels nearby at this time. Music festival downtown that weekend.
