50.5 % confident. Hopeful starts at 70% lol.
Losses at Fla, Mizzou, and Ball State.
My expectation is to go 1-1 in the first two games and also lose two of the following three games: Ball State, Bowling Green and NIU. Barring any unforeseen upset (always a possibility) that would yield a 9-3 season and a bowl game but probably no MACC game.
9-3 is also exactly half way between the two extreme (and unlikely) possibilities that I could see happening; namely a perfect 12-0 season on the upside and a worse case 6-6 (lose all 5 game mentioned above and throw in one upset-say a loss to CMU) on the downside.

My first reaction to this was "bite me," but on reflection, it's pretty reasonable.
Same here. I think we loose 4 games and not out of the realm of losing a 5th close game due to injuries, bad luck or the cart being off the track from a rough schedule. Tough schedule this year and just hope we are not too beat up to compete in the MAC. This team with last year's schedule and we're MAC champs. Big qestion mark is our Defensive line. On paper we're faster and stronger, but young and unproven. This could be a season to remember or middle of the pack, winning but not spectacular season.

Anywhere between 10-2 and 7-5 is possible with this ***** of a schedule, but 9-3 is my prediction. Another good season, but not quite what we want. I hope I am wrong about who we lose to. If we want a special season, the team needs to step up and beat both NIU and Ball St. A nice respectable 9-3 season with this recipe likely gets us into the MACC and a decent bowl. And of course, if it's going to be special, I don't want that third loss to be to that school down south

OOC we will more than likely lose one of our SEC matchups... And though I hate to say it, will probably also drop one or two MAC games (maybe because of complacency)...

You have Toledo losing to NIU, but getting to the MACC. Just curious how you got that, who are you expecting to beat NIU. You've either got a tie-breaker which I'm not sure how Toledo would win or have NIU with 2 conference losses, one not being to NIU.

I have you at 9-3, beating Mizzou and losing to NIU and BG in the MAC and losing in the swamp. Still a very impressive year. I think you guys get 2nd in the MAC West. and make it to a bowl game.
MACC-NIU vs. BG...this is probably a match-up you guys would hate to see.
MAC Champs- NIU, I am a homer, I just think they are the best team, Lynch is a stud.
You guys will make it to a bowl and win, getting double digit wins.
