Great news!

I think Karen is one of the most positive and energetic College Women's Basketball Coaches in the country. She is such an inspiration to be around.

WTG Karen......Aim High Lady Monarchs
Awesome!
Great get. Also had offers from Towson, JMU, and VCU back in 2012.
Welcome to Monarchland, Maia Lee.
I'll be out at McLean High supporting the Highlanders this year!
Awesome job by Barefoot and the staff. No doubt she was the right hire.
Does JJ have Barefoot's cell #?

LOL
"Top-100 Post" is misleading. Maia Lee is rated a 90. She isn't in ESPN's top 100 for the class of 2014. A good recruit for KB, but not as good as the article implies. If she was a top 100 recruit, she would have had more interest than CAA schools.
Go to ESPN's page she's rated as the 19th Forward in the country, also carries the Top-100 logo under her name. Recruiting services for girls hoop is very weak, but the staff is excited about this commitment and that's good enough for me.
Kb what a great hire. She is turning the heat up at a fast pace. Give two years we will have won cusa title in wbb. So excited for this team and what is a head. Bringing great games to the ted. The attendance will increase.

Something to cheer about at the ted. Please support them by attending games.

Are you an alum of McLean HS? It's where I went, although I've never visited since graduating.

But yeah, she looks like a great recruit! She might need some polishing though - other than soccer and lacrosse, the Liberty District isn't exactly known for stellar competition. Stone Bridge pretty much has it made with regards to football lol.

No, I'm not an alumnus. When my family was in the market for a house, McLean HS pyramid was one area I was seriously considering to enable my daughter attend McLean HS. It's such a great school. We ended up in Madison HS district, another fine school. A trip to McLean HS is about 15 minutes or less for me and can't see myself not checking Maia out regularly. Hope you can take advantage of this opportunity to re-connect with your alma mater and help cheer Maia and her team on.

You are right. My appologies. She is technically a Top 100 post player, but ESPN's Top 100 for 2014 hasn't been released yet. That is why the "Overall Ranking" under her profile is incomplete. They have only ranked the Super 60 players for that class so far, and she is not in that list.

The logo Top-100 logo under her name simply means that she is on the "Top 100 Watch List." She is being considered for the list, but she has not yet made the cut. This list can include up to 200+ players.
