I realize it's preseason, but because of where I live 3 hours south of KC, I get the Chiefs-Saints game on our local NBC channel.

The starters usually play only a few downs in the first preseason game.

The UofM's Dontari Poe lit it up. After the Chiefs scored, Drew Brees and the Saints came on to the field. 3 and out. Poe with a tackle behind the line on the first play, triple teamed on the second and sacked Brees on 3rd down to force the punt. The Chiefs announcers were talking him up big time and are expecting a great season from him. Dude's a monster at nose tackle. #92 can play.
Always awesome when former Tigers perform!
Awesome! Go big fella
Go Donteri! He's a beast.
still cant believe he made it. go cardinals
I am just thrilled for Mr. Poe. Thanks for the update. That just makes my night.
Two good things here, Not only is a Tiger making good but the nay-sayers are being proven wrong.

Lol, wow.
He had a great game. He looked good, lost some weight and the announcers kept comparing to BJ Raji.. I wonder if KC fans are bitching now about drafting him??
A replay of the game is going to be on the NFL channel at noon (Memphis time). I'm going to have to check it out. Hope he has a break out season.
Don't miss the beginning. And yes he did look "slimmer" than last year.

Will do. And thanks for the heads up.
Hope he can keep it going!! Go Seahawks
Go big Poe....go Rams!
The story goes that Dontari gave up BBQ, which helped him trim up and become quicker. He's going to have a big impact on my Chiefs this year, love having a Memphis guy on my team. It used to be Jerome Woods back in the day, now Poe.

Lol, wow.

Wooddale Cardinals. I played with him for four years there
The thing that did Dontari Poe the most good, was getting away from negative nabob Mike Dubose. That guy never used Dontari as a pass rusher. What a maroon.[/font]
