I just wanted to post this for anyone that might have been worried about the tickets from Stubhub being a scam. This was also my first time using Stubhub and I got the tickets from UPS today. Can't wait to see you guys there.

I have ordered some for NFL games before so I trust them but haven't gotten mine yet. I'll be looking for them though

Have not received mine yet but I too have used Stub Hub for Concerts and NFL games with no issues.

I was in Bristol for a project last year and thought I would take in a football game at Tennessee. I ordered a better ticket off Stub-hub since it was just me and the ticket included food. I can only guess the tickets actually came from the UT ticket office because I have been on UT email list ever since. Got one from UT just the other day saying I was a valued customer wanting me to order season tickets.

Guessing tickets that they cannot sale they let stub-hub sale them.

Got an email from them today saying tickets were on the way.

I suspect that every major school (and each major bowl game) allots many thousands of tickets directly to outlets like Stub-Hub in order to make more money than face value of the tickets (a recent article in the NEWS sports section said many individual game tickets are already getting over $600 each on the secondary market and expected to go higher). I have never heard or seen any accounting of ticket sales at any school or bowl so one would never know how they are dispersed. I would guess that the bigger the game, the more tickets get allotted to maximize revenue.

University athletics is a business so any decision made to increase income for the program is considered a good one.

Still waiting for mine. The confirmation sent after I said "I Do" indicated they would be there by gameday. I almost swallered my chaw when I saw that. If they dont get here before the Friday of the game, Im gonna be farked for sure.
