You could probably get a bunch of UAB students there (to shop) if buses were provided...
Way better than the Gonnorhea if you ask me! (plus I live five minutes from Grand River... 03-shhhh)

I disagree.

Galleria had far more foot traffic and the event was in a part of the mall that nobody could ignore.

The shops are an outdoor outlet area...there's not a central bottleneck like the food court to grab people's attention.

Still, I hope it's a good event.
Why have Fan Day at a mall food court? Seems like you would have your Fan Day at your campus or your stadium.

Just doesn't seem right to me.
Heaven forbid UAB have its fan day in Birmingham...

Exactly. Have a pep rally or the Blazer Caravan stop at these malls, but have UAB Fan Day in Birmingham.
Am I the only one who really enjoyed Breakfast with the Blazers?

No. I'd vote for that in a heartbeat over "Shopping in the Burbs with the Blazers".
I'll be there... but guessing that attendance will be less than it would have been at the Galleria.
Hope it doesn't rain.
Region's Park or Railroad Park???

There you go!

And FYI...... The AAD for Marketing possition is still open.
I can at least understand the reason behind having it at the mall... It's a form of advertisement, getting your players in the public eye, hopefully selling a few season tickets while it's going on... I get it.
Why you would want to move it from an air conditioned heavily trafficked Mall to a much less busy one that is outdoors? That I don't understand.
Even though it is outdoors, I think a lot of the area is somewhat shaded.

I have only been by there a time or two though.

The Galleria is a much better location than the outlet mall. My top choice would be having it on campus though.
Either way, it is what it is now so let's make the best of it. Voice our concerns after the 24th for where it should be next year.
The Galleria is under construction in the area it's been held the last two years. I'm betting this played a factor.
I liked it being at Bartow, but I think it would do well on the green too. All on campus students should be back for fall semester by that time. I think we are better off trying to build a fan base with current students, opposed to the fine people of Leeds.
