How current are the movies streaming? As current as in the RedBox kiosk?

Looking on their site the top 10 movies are currently:
1. A Thousand Cuts
2. Cabin in the Woods
3. Jeff Who Lives at Home
4. Tyler Perry's Good Deeds
5. One for the Money
6. Young Adult
7. Expendables 2
8. What to Expect When You're Expecting
9. The Avengers
10. Safe

You can get a free month's trial though http://www.redboxinstant.com/
Sounds decent. I have a Roku and use Netflix on it all the time. Can't say I'm ready to add another $8/month bill to it, though. I spend enough on my TV entertainment through Netflix and uverse.

Most of those are on Netflix and Amazon instant video I already have. No thanks

I'll hit up red box when I want something new and it's not on Netflix

yep, i have the avengers on my instant queue right now. if redbox wants to be successful at this, they need to offer more than netflix.
I agree. Another streaming service that doesn't differentiate itself in the market doesn't really entice me.

But I've never been a big Red Box fan anyway. I think the actual kiosks were a cool idea, but it never appealed to me.
speaking of movies

Go see "The Heat"

I laughed until my face hurt

My wife saw it with her friends and loved it... Melissa McFerren is great she said and Sandra Bullock is always hot.

For an action movie The Wolverine was pretty good too.
I love Bullock. Looks a lot like a girlfriend I had in college.

I was thinking when I saw it that I'm glad she didn't try and fix her nose--it's not the Hollywood perfect standard but is what makes her uniquely beautiful, IMO.
I REALLY liked Red 2 and The Conjuring might be one of the best scary movies in a very long time.

Agree that Redbox has to go above and beyond to draw customers. Probably not a lot that don't already have at least one of the services available.
