And this isn't football related.
A couple of weekends ago, the wife and I went down to the Coast and came through Hattiesburg. At the 49 and Hardy Street intersection, across from the university is a CVS. When I was in school there it was a restaurant.. And for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it.
Anyone remember what it was?

I thought it was that, but for some reason I thought that was a fast food chicken place.
Did it relocate or just shut down?

Relocated. It is out on 98/Hardy now in a brand new building.

Ah.. Makes sense.
We can close this b-word now,
The fast food chicken place you might be thinking of was Guthrie's Chicken Fingers. It was actually located the opposite side of where Chesterfields used to be. It's now a Verizon store I believe. It was only a Guthrie's for only a few years.

There is also a chain convenience store brand called Chesterfried's.

The place is certainly getting better traffic than it did in the old location.

If my wife's work schedule works out and we're still in Ridgeland.. I think we might try to make it down for the TSU game.
