Think this should be our new greeting to one another like the bamers do with "roll tide". Next time I see a WMU shirt I'm going to throw it out there see what happens.
I'll pass.

How 'bout "Go Brown" instead?
I hear he has a picture of a bloody steak in the office. Some kind of hungry dog symbolism, which sounds more appropriate for NIU.

How about "Eat the Meat!" ?
I've already done it. Got a laugh outta the guy.

He's a former Bronco football player so I guess it doesn't count as much. Still funny though.

The first person that says that to me with any seriousness like "Roll Tide" will potentially get punched in the neck.

I did see a kid at dinner last night with a Row The Boat tshirt. I didn't have the heart to make fun of him. But I just cant get on board with this one, it just sounds ridiculous to me. Sorry.

So your going to punch someone in the neck or make fun of a kid for supporting their football progarm? Whether you like the phrase or not doesn't mean others can't use it to support the program. How immature and not Bronco like of you...
WMU Athletics does not condone the physical assault of fellow fans over disagreements pertaining to slogan usage.

Threatening violence on fellow fans is uncool, especially over an innocent slogan. You may want to lay off the bottle and get some perspective.
Oh boy the righteous and thei faux indignation is out in force tonight!!! i'd like to see the neck shot, very do jo. Bam.
Seriously? Its a figure of speech and obviously, I'm not going to go punching people for saying Row The Boat. Its a tongue in cheek comment people. Relax a little bit and realize that not EVERYTHING that is written or said is 100% serious.

As for someone "Row The Boat" becoming our mantra when we see fellow Bronco fans. I just don't see it. Unless you count the thousands of times that my friends and I have said it mockingly this summer to one another.

And obviously, I didn't and wouldn't ever make fun of the kid wearing a Row The Boat shirt. It actually about the first WMU Football gear I have seen anyone wear all summer, so I was surprised and pleased to see it. Even if it did have that stupid saying across the front.

So go ahead and say Row The Boat to one another as our mantra and battle cry. I'll stick with Go Broncos.
As I typed that last post, another thing popped into my head.

I liken Row The Boat for WMU a little bit like Sparty On for MSU fans. Its stupid and sounds stupid. If MSU fans want to say Go Green or Go Spartans, that makes sense to me. Sparty On has always been nails on a chalk board for me. That's what Row The Boat is, nails on a chalk board. The difference is, at least people know what your talking about with Sparty On. Row The Boat means nothing to anyone not associated with our program. And its a joke for quite a few of us that are associated with it.

I can only speak for myself, but I think Colin and Flyboy were being sarcastic, just like me.
