Quote:Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) has given an interview with The New Republic's Isaac Chotiner in which the man who coined the term "wacko birds" to describe rising GOP stars and noted interventionist-skeptics Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) and Rep. Justin Amash (R-Michigan) refuses to say who he'd back in a 2016 presidential election between Paul and Hillary Clinton:

That's only because he can't bomb either one of them.
So funny Republican Party nominated that guy.

The democrats really don't have any room to talk.
I once posted on the CAAZone that I thought that the North Vietnamese dropped McCain on his head one too many times. I was severely chastised for that opinion. I still think I was right and damn the consequences.
It's time to give the Maverick his tapioca and send him to bed.

Yea, his time has come and gone. i still respect and somewhat admire his military service and even that of his father, and his service in the Senate.

But the days of his kind of go along get along, Gang of Whatever, Lose-lose back room deal making needs to be over.
Wow, talk about the old guard scorching the earth. McCain should have been dumped long ago.
Vote for Monica Lewinsky's ex-lover's wife!

Funniest comment I saw today on the McCain story;

He's always been a lightweight thinker but now he seems to be devolving into his idiot daughter.
I'll be glad when he finally leaves.
I didn't vote to re-elect him :)
Funny, I was just thinking about posting:

Will John McCain be the next Republican sphincter Arlen Sphincter that is. I think McCain has went SO far left he will have to run as a democrat the next time he's up for re-election, because he will definitely face a major challenge from the tea party candidate in the Republican primary and most likely lose.
John McCain, a real American hero and a model for the Republican Party. I wish there were more like him.

John McCain will be 82. I doubt he runs again.

Robert Byrd was 93 when he died in office
Jennings Randolph was 93 when he left the senate
Dianne Feinstein is 80 and still serving
Carl Levin is 79 and still serving

Old liberals don't fade away, they die in office.

So you voted for him in '08.

Yes.
McCain is an idiot of the highest order
Give it up McCain. We do not care who you support.
In fact it might very well be a drawback for that person.

Why did we ever get McCain out of the Hanoi Hilton?
That's cruel. Sounds like something McCain would say.
He is a hero and served his country. Just hard to take him
seriously anymore.
