Just noticed this game was on as I was surfing channels. Tuned in late in the third, just in time to see Nick make a great 40 yard catch while falling backwards. Caught another 11 yarder on that drive too. On-line stats say Nick has 5 catches for 100 yards.
Nick caused a fumble with a hit preventing a defender from scoring.

Late in the game, Nick took a hit to the lower back on an incomplete pass thrown into the ground in front of him. Slow to get up but appeared to remain in the game, however, the BC QB did not throw a pass in his direction the rest of the game - some four minutes or less.
Just FYI - virtually every CFL game this year is on either ESPN2, NBCSN, or ESPN3. Different flavor of the game for sure, but as a longtime Roughriders fan I can tell you that it's a lot of fun to watch.

It's soo different. Endzones are different. Only 3 downs. 55 yds to mid field. 12 players. WRs running to the line of scrimmage.

And the last snap happened after the clock hit 0:00 even though it was a kneel down play.

If the ball is set prior to :00, a play must be run.

Those are come crazy Canucks to come up with these rules... 01-wingedeagle
I always liked the bigger end-zone and the ability to score 'singles'. Make red-zone play more interesting. I thought those would be good additions to our game down here, but of course you can't just snap your fingers and make the stadiums longer.

What's with their scoring? I've seen teams get points when punting into the endzones???

If a punt or missed FG goes into the end zone, the defense has to return the ball out of the end zone or the kicking team gets a point ... called a 'single'.

Makes sense. The NFL/CFB will never do that, because they are trying to take contact out of the game! 03-banghead
Having the single point in play makes it different when the game is tied at the end of regulation. The ball can be punted from anywhere, mind you... Check this vid out.

The "Kick Out" team!
BC on TV again tonight, but Nick is not in the lineup. Listed as out with a hamstring injury.
Nick back in the lineup, just had a hell of a block that led to a BC TD
That's good to hear.

That $hit was crazy. Glad to confirm with the comments below the video, what i originally thought, that the single point is called a "Rogue".
Dan LeFevour had a nice TD reception today for Hamilton...
