No reason to bother adding Lacrosse. There's a good chance that if something comes out of this pointing to the fact that Duke tried to cover something up here it might cause people in power to take a good long look at some of the activities by the BB team and it's players that have been covered up over the years.

Private school, so nothing has to be reported to the outside. I think we all know of another private institution that has had several issues "swept under the carpet" over the years.

Now those I do know something about....
Before my daughter got engaged, she dated a guy a couple of years ago that was a campus police officer at a private university. what happened there with the FULL knowledge of the school is just sickening -- far worse than anything that I know of that ever happened at my alma mater.
So much for George Carlin's old schtick about Lacrosse being a sport for gay college kids.

I worked at a small private college in North Carolina back in the 90's which had its own campus police force. The NC Supreme Court threw out all cases involving our campus police department due to their interpretation of the "Separation of Church and State". Most NC privates ended up contracting with city police or county sherriffs to handle the law enforcement duties on campus.
As far as Title IX compliance, they probably don't offer all 47 students an athletic grant, but then again when you're DUKE and have over a billion dollars in your endowment, you don't need to offer athletic grants to all 47 students.
Every North and South Carolinian that attends DUKE receives an N.B. Duke Scholarship that guarantees they will graduate from DUKE debt free (i.e no student loans to be repaid). Of course, since most of the DUKE students are from New Jersey......
What a sweetheart.
I am sure that will earn him a lot of sympathy from the jury.

There are a lot of criminal who are smart and know how to get away with things, that doesn't it make it right. Congratulations, Duke is good at covering up criminal activity.
FYI today Duke's coach resigned and they cancelled their season
