Potential conference losses
at mtsu
at unt
At tulsa

Like that we get both utep and usm at home
It's obvious they are trying to make mtsu a rival
Getting utep and usm at home is big. I also like the Thursday/Saturday conference game format.
I think C-USA is going to be crazy this year. Outisde of my homer UAB pick, I'd say watch out for the 49ers.

Our home games against three of my most anticipated opponents (ODU, USM, and MT) are all on Thursdays. At least UTEP is Saturday.

I will be mad as hell if we lose at UNT. I think about half the conference games are loseable, but UNT is not one of those in my book.
I like that there aren't any Wednesday games. So we dont have choose between going to church and the ball games.
18 home 10 road
I'm actually way more excited about the UAB Basketball schedule this year than I have been in the last few years. I'm seriously thinking of heading to Charleston to watch some games. It's not far away, and there are three teams I would really like to see live (UAB, New Mexico, and Clemson), and two more that would be interesting to see (Georgia and Temple).

I know it's different for football, but I love this conference for basketball, and I'm not too upset about losing Memphis. We are more competitive top to bottom and I really like the addition of Middle Tennessee. There is a lot of potential here, and I think for fans like us it's more exciting because every year is going to play out differently from now on (unless UAB starts dominating of course).
Anyone else notice they stuck with only the top 12 teams advancing to the tournament?

The media release after the spring meetings stated they were going to allow all 16 teams in for both the men's and women's tournaments.

I think our press release could be incorrect.

I didn't, but it's good if that's the case. I never thought all 16 should get in.

That's my thought also, but the C-USA website has no updated info yet.
Our press release also says we play SMiss on the road while the schedule says its a home game...

Or at least I thought it did. Either its been corrected or I read it wrong.

FIFY (JK)...
I'll likely make the trip up to Middle on Jan 11. Nice to have the conference opener within driving distance.

My top four in the conference are Southern Miss, La Tech, UTEP, and Middle. We get all of them at home (well technically we get Middle home and away, 4 out of 5 ain't bad.)

Marshall will be tough on the road.

Maybe ECU
