Finishing third in the west but this team will go bowling once again. If the Rockets are going to be losing to multiple MAC teams then Florida, Missouri, and Navy must not be very good if we're sure we'll be bowling even after losing to some scrubs.

I tend to agree with the USA writer who put the Rockets at #44---Namely, this season is up for grabs and could end up anywhere from his "nightmare season" (6-6) to his "dream season" (11-1). Actually as long as we are dreaming, why not a 12-0 season? Of course something in the middle such 9-3 or 8-4 seems more realistic at this early point, but who knows?

He had WMU winning the MAC West last year with NIU third. Also had EMU going to a bowl game. On the upside, he had Dantin and Owens as the Rockets QBs.
