It is commonly known that cuisine in the UK is . . . common. Nothing to write home about. So eating UK food is bland and uninspiring.

Well, now there is a revelation some find eating UK people is high on their list.

Wasnt this a script in an Alfred Hitchcock episode?
Wow. I remember seeing the show you reference. It was from the 70's, but not Hitchcock. As I recall it was an hour long show with 2 or 3 different horror stories every week.
The show was Night Gallery, Rod Serlings show after Twilight Zone went off the air. The episode was called "Caterpillar" and aired in 1972.
