Im looking for something for my wife and I to do besides dinner and a movie Friday evening. Shes not a sports girl but I think she would like this. What do yall think?

It's fun, but it takes a little bit to get used to throwing the disc. It's not as easy as it looks. Some people get frustrated quickly. If you throw a course with a lot of trees and brush, playing frisbee golf is harder in the summertime vs the wintertime. Then you got the bugs this time of the year. You definitely will want some bug spray.

Might be better to save the frisbee golf for this fall when temperatures get cooler and maybe not as many bugs.
Thanks

Find an auction... It may sound weird, but its like shopping for her and gambling for you. And you see some cool stuff. I bought an old antique school bell for $8 at one recently. Most have a concession stand. It can be fun and its definitely something different.
It's to damn hot for an outside date night. The only course I've been to is off Johnson Road in Germantown and it's in some woods so bring insect repellent.

Definitely an awesome time. I've done it once, and I'm ready to do it again. A little pricey. And my wife would never agree to that.
My son is into that disc golf stuff BIG time. He loves it.

Great sport to booze and play. Find the right park and some guys may have herbal enhancements.

This sport is sweeping dallas. Folks love it. I've yet to play.
I used to play out at Shelby Forest many years ago. Unless you're fairly proficient with a disc it can be very frustrating. Hell, even if you're very proficient it can be frustrating. As was mentioned, it's not really the greatest summer activity you can find. Auctions really are pretty cool, especially antiques and collectibles. I picked up a mint condition Case XX knife which was manufactured in the 40's or 50's for 200 bucks and turned around and sold it on ebay for 750. That started me collecting old knives. But I digress, if she likes antiques at all she'd probably enjoy auctions.
