Basketball floor for this season, new turf for 2014.

Too bad Hamrick's a traditionalist. It'd be pretty neat to have a herd of stampeding buffalo stained across the bottom of the court, similar to what Memphis did with their skyline
The turf we need. its starting to fade a lot. Didn't we get a new floor like 6 years ago. When we had the big basketballs on the floor. Or was it just painted then.

In that article it looks as Louisville doesn't want to face a senior Cato since they want us to move the game to 2015. I assume in 2014 they will breaking a new QB in. I don't see Bridgewater coming back after this season. That means Cato will most likely always be 5-0 against Teddy Bridgewater.

For the game to get moved that means Marshall would need to drop or buyout Norfolk State. And we would have a great home OOC schedule then:

Purdue
at Ohio
at Kent State
Louisville
We moved the Marshall game back to accommodate playing at Notre Dame in 2014.
LaTech is also getting a new basketball floor
It would be great for season ticket sales to have Louisville and Purdue on the home schedule in the same season but maybe it would be more wise to stagger them.
the new basketball floor should have the link or 800 number to fill out applications for the MBB HC vacancy.

Yea they were, will the floor have a new design from the current one?
I was just talking to a buddy the other day about how it was time to change the turf.. Glad to know that'll be happening soon.

I would love to have a parkay (SP?) floor like the Celtics.
I hope we get rid of "THE HERD" emblem. I despise anything that says "THE HERD". I'd rather it say MARSHALL.

That would be a crazy home slate. It wouldn't be ideal though, because 1 BCS school at home should be good enough per season.

Though I wouldn't mind having Froh take on both teams at home wearing #15 in 2015.

I don't think its a given that Frohnapfel would be the starter his SR year. I think he is extremely talented and could start for most if not all of CUSA. But Kevin Anderson looks exactly like Cato did coming in. I think he will push Frohnapfel for the starting job once Cato is gone.
