that is a pretty decent jump in season tickets for one season now if Texas State can work over the next year or two to get that to 10,000-12,000 they will have some really impressive numbers to build on from there
I always believe that a crowd draws a crowd so if you can get 10,000+ season ticket holders combined with a decent portion of the students you will be well on your way to having the type of crowd that will draw in the stragglers that will then top off the attendance

It remains to be seen how much that jump had to do with the Texas Tech game last season.
