I love macro photos...don't know why I haven't bought a dedicated macro lens yet.

My favorite photography....bought I cheap lens to play with...hope to someday get a really nice one.

I won't buy a dedicated macro until I can get the Nikon 105mm...hut right now, there are better ways to spend $1,000. In the meantime, I use some filters to duplicate a macro lens.

yep...not good. Trying to get rid of them....not going to be easy

I've read all kinds of stuff on the internet on this because it just drives me crazy.

I dug up the worst affected zucchini plant and put it in the garbage & used a light coat of Sevin dust on my garden.

Also as the stalk grows further out of the ground I put more soil on top covering it to keep it from being exposed to the moths to make it harder or them to lay their eggs.

Also I've read recommendations to start a second planting of squash after the borers mating season is over since the squash will grow quickly and on into October.

Thanks for the pics, I've enjoyed them every year. They've inspired me.
