Would be nice to get this talented center. Very active, terrific athleticism, handles the ball well, shoots a variety of shots, and extends his arms when shooting so that the ball takes off at the apex. Also, quick release.

That would create a historical name confusion issue

That's funny. Cutter was a great ball player and that was truly a fun team to watch. I remember watching them play against Notre Dame, and they passed the ball down the court with three to four guys touching the ball for a layup without dribbling once.
Especially for GBL. 03-lmfao Funny that it was my first thought, too.

Now, if a 6' 9" recruit named Paul Griffith shows up, we've got real name problems.

I talked that year with a former college asst. coach and he told me he hadn't seen a college team that moved the ball passing as well as WMU in years, if ever.
Funny how the game has changed.

Guys LOVE to pound the ball on the floor now.

Granted, today's players are also much better off the dribble.

I think that the 3-point line is responsible.
I didn't know Tom played basketball or that he is that tall. He is pretty funny though.

There is much more information on the comic than the kid.
