It varies from year to year, but normally things are finalized by mid to late summer I think.

Which is then followed by weeks of complaints about how the SID lost the schedule and hasn't posted it yet (even though it's been pretty consistently posted around the same time every year).
I admit, the date of release has been pretty consistent since our current SID has been here. BUT, the schedule was typically released earlier before he arrived.
Sitting on the schedule for almost 6 weeks (as was done last year) is simply inexcusable.

Yet... it was excused.
What are the schedule's variables that are summer related? Are we still trying to get game commitments from other schools, changes in dates or times for any games already scheduled, schools trying to add us and we are trying to work out conflicts or just hoping they will look more busy by consistent delay?
