The Sun Bowl has renewed with the PAC 12 until 2019.
I"m glad to hear it. As you may know, I love the PAC12.
Wishful thinking but I would like to see another Western Conference vs a PAC 12 team.
MWC number 2 vs PAC12 number 4 would be great.
I am happy with the our Pac12 agreement. I still don't have a firm handle on our pick though. Pac12 champ automatically goes to the BCS. Is that the Rose Bowl or something else? Then three bowls pick ahead of us? Still, I am fine with being the Pac12.
The new ACC should be fine, too. Great new names and a little variety.
MWC number two is an absolute no go. I would not even be happy if it was the MWC champ (who will likely be going to a BCS bowl so getting MWC number two would actually be MWC number three).
PAC12 is better than having to watch the AAC
I wouldn't go crazy about it though..... Ooops I used the word crazy.
There is a lot of politics involved in bowl games which makes it difficult to have a dream match up without the affiliations screwing it all up.
For my money, I like watching teams from west of the Miss. rather than east of the Miss.
That is just my Crazy two cents.
