1) Rendezvous
2) Andrew Micheal's
Andrew Michael is absurdly good.

I've eaten there twice now - including last night.

It's underwhelming and overly expensive for what you get (luckily someone else paid).

Iris is as advertised. Andrew Michael isn't up to the hype.
Ruth's Chris (over priced for something I have the ability to cook at home)

Rendezvous (not a fan of the rub and the ribs are inconsistent)

Gus' Fried Chicken (it's good but it's not line up outside 30 minutes before they open good)

All are good but they ain't great.
Iris
huey's anymore, unfortunately
McDonald's
Rendezvous
Interstate
Spindini
I'm glad Chicago Pizza Factory finally threw in the towel. For years it seemed every time I looked in the window there were no customers.

Yep
Rendezvous... way too inconsistent. Last two times I've eaten there the ribs were overcooked and stale.
McEwen's ... not the same since Mac Edwards sold it.
On these boards I would say Central. It is good but from reading here sometimes you would think that everything they make is gold.

Only disappointment I ever have with Central is when they give me old ribs.

If they are fresh, they are the only BBQ place that compares to the best homemade ribs I've had.

I'm not saying they give out nasty food but simply that, based on the comments on here, I expect it to be the best bbq I've ever had. They are good, I love their food, but the build up around here is unreal for that place.
With that said, I may head over to the Summer location for lunch today. Anyone want in?

If it didn't take 6 hours to get there, I'd be in.
Rendezvous - used to go once a month. It is now terribly inconsistent.

The food at Cafe Ole is not good anymore and Memphis Pizza Cafe seems to have slipped a bit.

I too have noticed a difference in ribs when you get them late afternoon or evening.
Bahama Breeze. Awful.
