This is great news. Also happy to see that plans for the renovated Fetterman facility in the end zone will expand on study and tutoring areas. UT is also raising runs for academic scholarships in the athletic area too.
This beat writer is as good as we've had. This is a positive story and interesting look at how coaches motivate players. The story creates attention to the program building to the season which will be a fun one. Thanks Ryan.
The unsaid implication of the story is that Amstutz did not do a good job of promoting academics. In turn, the progran did not prosper on the field. It is tough to be a "players" coach and also maintain discipline. Campell seems to be doing just that.
Wonder if the NCAA will award UT's academic success with MORE scholarships ;-)

I have heard that as a result of Toledo's improvement, the NCAA will allow student athletes to receive a stipend at OSU.
