I saw them for the first time this past Saturday. It had been on the top of to do list for awhile now .It was one of the sweetest things ever. They are absolute SUPER STARS. They just stand out like no other. Bill Walker is my favorite player. His dunks are just nasty. If you have not seen them play you are missing out!!!!!!! Has anybody else seen them or not seen them play??? If they went to UC i would have a heart attack from excitement.
They aint too bad.
I've seen them both play more times then I can count. Walker is probably one of, if not the, best dunker in HS or college.

I have 2 friends that have seen them repeatedly. One of them actually does play by play for high school games on TV. He is also a former intern at Channel 5 and did sports for a Lexington TV station. The other is a former Moeller player and currently a basketball coach.

Their opinion is that Walker has the most long term potential and that Mayo has probably reached his potential. They criticized both of their defensive ability, saying neither plays defense and needs to learn how. Walker needs to expand his range and game but that he is a force in the low post.

They think Walker needs a couple of years in college to work on his game, kind of like Pittsnogle of West Virginia, but in the reverse.........Pittsnogle had to improve his inside game and Walker needs to expand his range and work on his defense and understanding the game.

They think Mayo could play SG in the NBA right now, that he has already arrived. They don't think he's a PG yet, saying he rarely gets his teammates involved.

I've seen them both about 6 or 7 times. Walker is raw and has tons of potential. I don't think he'll be in college for more than 2 years. He'll develop his outside game and turn into a great player like Jason Richardson has done. He's the best high school dunker I've ever seen and he attacks the rim very aggressively.
Mayo will be be in college for 1 year most likely. He'll be a PG in college and the NBA. He's like Jason Kidd with a jumper.

:iagree:

Walker is a tweener- he doesn't have a position yet in the NBA but has time to develop his perimiter skills. Mayo is the 2nd (Lebron) Best pro Prospect to come straight out of high school since Kobe. Mayo reminds me of Rip Hamilton with PG skills
i've seen em... its sweet. Course it would be really awesome to see them play when they had to play hard to win... i haven't seen that yet..

Then you didnt see the Oak Hill game.
Mayo had one of the best performances I've ever seen from a HS'er.

Mayo is one and done. Walker may need a second year of college to improve his long range jumper. But he would still be drafted.
