Though the music is unfamiliar to me on most of the stages, there is/was some comfort in witnessing Sir Paul overwhelm "the children" and then rush over to see the great ones -- ZZ Top -- execute their "We know who we are and what we're about" kick-ass craft.

Government Mule just restored my faith in today's music. Afterwards hitting the great Dwight Yoakam, Billy Idol and Weired Al Yankovic. Sue me.
