power kept going off on campus last night. We had class by cellphone light. Was funny except for the fact that no power meant no air, so it got a little steamy in there.

That's interesting because campus has it's own grid. The surrounding neighborhood is another grid and the west side of highland is a yet another.
damn cellphones ruining a good chance for the prof to pull the plug on class... that sucks

true, but being a split summer term we have NO slack in the schedule. We're already squeezing in 4 months worth into 4 weeks. We did seriously consider moving to a nearby restaurant/bar that had lights to finish, lol (plenty of time to go, since it's a 4-hr class)
Not sure, but its def. affecting Internet service in some areas as well...
