to the league. It will be sad to lose Western and Middle, along with North Texas. They have been an integral part of our conference for a long time. However I look forward to our new members, especially Georgia Southern and Arlington. And I'm sure Texas State and Georgia State will develop into good competitors. I sure would like to see Belmont and Oral Roberts in the Belt, and maybe that will take place in time. I'd feel better if we had more basketball only schools join the Belt.

Pappy's Predictions will be largely a shot in the dark this year.

It looks like Ga State will have a pretty tough team next year (in basketball). They're the team that got Kentucky transfer, Ryan Harrow; then you add in RJ Hunter (the coach's son), who is a really good player. I definitely see them contending for the Sun Belt Championship next year.
