With all the storms about to come thru NW Ohio/SE Michigan, be safe. Gonna be a long night. Looks like another big line is still back by Milwaukee/Chicago.
I'm in Chicago...so far off and on heavy rain. Hope that is as bad as it gets.
I was a little concerned, too. So often it seems like these storm systems get toward the western end of Lake Erie then split apart going to the north and south, knowing they should not mess with Toledo. The leading blob of this one seems to have done just that.

The main act isn't here quite yet, though (but will be soon). From what I see, I'm guessin' we are going to get some heavy rain, but I think the real nasty stuff is going to respect Toledo (or at least Maumee) as it should. 03-wink

(Waterville....well, when you name your town after water...ya know...)

It's 11:30pm and still nothing has yet to happen!
Finally starting to sprinkle here. Things oughta get interesting in the next half hour I'm guessin'. I can here some thunder now. There is a small, severe looking cell that formed near the IN state line and seems to be following the turnpike. I hope that goes north because I am not far at all from the turnpike.

Well, that one is moving north, but there looks to be a bigger one coming up 24 from the south. Revenge of H2Oville Rocket. 04-jawdrop

The original post was from last week. Maybe it will just keep getting updated each week with all the weather issues that have been going on.

yea i know, i havent been on here in over a week. apparently our area will have some stuff tonight but not toledo itself
I sure hope this past week isn't setting the stage for the rest of the summer. It helps keep the heat down a little, but if these showers keep up the humidity and the skeeters will be awful! If this pattern keeps up I hate to think of August.

But I LIKE to think of September! COGS

Up North of Detroit, I can see all of the thunder clouds and sometimes can hear the lightning - but we got no rain all weekend. Yesterday there were dark clouds to the South, North and West of where I live and though I was going to get hit hard. Nothing.
Try this one, It seems to be working up here.

Since you posted this it's rained at least twice a day, every day. Matter-of-fact. It's raining again now. 03-banghead

It has rained something like 20 out of the last 21 days.
Temperatures into the 90's, for many days in a row, are apparently just around the corner for us to "enjoy"....
