Broadcast to begin at 5 pm
Very Cool,

I think Marshall fans will be very happy with the broadcast. When FAU's stadium was built they brought in producers and experts from ESPN and CSS to discuss what they would need in order to brodcast in HD from the stadium. Everything from the placement of the lights and the position of the camera mounts was done to make sure games look fantastic on TV.

Expect lots of shots of the ocean, palm trees, and boats that are literally foating in the distance.
Surprised by the Charlotte-ODU game being nationally televised.

It's a shame our first nationally televised game will probably be an ass whipping, but excited about it nonetheless.

Fox is being pretty good to the conference. I hope this continues after a new contract is negotiated.
It's their Fox College Sports channel. They aired our game vs WCU last season.
NICE!!
Yea I believe that is one of the expanded sports package channels.

Yep, same package as CBS Sports Network, NFL Network, ESPNU on Suddenlink.

WKU students (WKU has its own sat. truck) produced most of our basketball games on FCS for years before the Sun Belt told us no last season which sucked... Imagine watching every game on TV to now watching every game on a computer.....Wonder if WKU will go back to having most basketball games on Fox College Sports again?

Looks like I will be having to upgrade to Sports Pack on Direct TV regardless next year...Anyone know if you can get a sports package that includes this channel on Direct TV?

No its different then CBS sports unless they are switching in August to include this....A couple of years ago all of our games were on either Fox College Sports Central or Atlantic...Maybe they are changing this in the fall? I looked it up on Direct TV and they have ROOT SPorts covering CUSA football, so Fox College Sports Channel maybe on the ROOT Channel..I know its very confusing and when I called Direct TV a couple of years ago, they had no idea what I was talking about...FCS is different from your regional Fox Networks...

Uh oh? I thought that it'd be better to have it at night. It's cooler and means that the players and the fans can be more comfortable.

No, I think he's saying Uh Oh because that place tends to turn into an insane asylum when the sun goes down.

Or so I've heard.
I'm so confused. WTF is this channel? It's not the local Fox Sports stations is it?
Anyways, congrats to Marshall. For those that won't be able to make it, enjoy the broadcast!
Also, I'm PUMPED to see Charlotte at ODU, two future members that could become huge rivals in the near future. I wish it would be at Charlotte, but I've yet to see ODU's stadium on TV yet.
Will Charlotte's first home game be on TV?

Seriously??? You telling me you guys have boats LITERALLY floating in the ocean? Geez, sorry for the excitement but I thought it was only a facade'. BOATS. LITERALLY FLOATING IN THE WATER!!! Damn, who would have thought that was possible.

There was a rumor a while back that CUSA was working with Fox to help us get our first game on TV, but I'm assuming that has fallen through.

I'm sure the games will be broadcast locally, but nothing has been announced yet.

Correct. Haha... Dowdy-Ficklen is on a different level at night. All the fans (that partake) have on average 6-8 hours of drinking in them by then. It's cooler outside so they can focus on cheering and not on being miserable in 110 degree heat. And DFS just looks so damn cool under the lights. It gets L-O-U-D in there, especially during night games.

Looks like our best bet would be to find a stream illegally online....

Worth it.
