I would have waited until ODU improved that figure. It's embarrassing that the legendary program is that low, Attendance is down but will soon improve. We need to aim high in women's basketball as well. We need to attend Lady Monarch basketball. We can never bring the Field House back, but we can bring back the electricity that building produced during the flagship years.
There is supposed to be a better schedule this year (one can only hope).

This years weak and uninteresting schedule I'm sure had a large part to do with this pretty bad attendance figure.

With that said, attendance has been on the decline for sometime now, but a lack of quality teams on the schedule sweeps by JMU and Delaware sure doesn't help either.

Aim High

I've been attending LM basketball for a long time now. I'm embarrassed at how low the program sank which is to blame for the low attendance but I'm still a big supporter. Many long time fans have expressed the same. Nothing wrong with that. But if you read the post, I encouraged all to support the LM's.

Many are embarrassed by the men's program with some even threatening to boycott it or end their annual donations.

I thought you weren't going to respond to me anyway.
No, SB,I said when you searched me out on different board when I was responding to a JMU poster. They had mentioned how they (JMU) fit into the AAC. I mentioned that someday maybe the AAC could be a destination for ODU and listed a few statistic I was proud to share with those on that board. You responded to my post saying....I was whoring ODU and Pimping them!

I said" I will not continue to respond to your hate of what I had said on that board. But that is fine. I really feel if you only want to be negative to me and always respond that way. Yes I will not respond to any of your post! You are not worth it!

Please do the same to my post. I have no desire to see or hear your always negative bias to what I say!

Thanks and have a great day.

I will support ODU and look forward to a future that is always Aiming High.

I think that info is for the 2011-12 season, not the 2012-13 season...

Middle Tennessee averaged over 4200 last season for women's basketball
