I found this picture of a "Heinike Beer" tee shirt while surfing the other night. Does anyone know where I could get one?

Yes, I recall the same.

I also wonder about the Heinicke for Heisman t-shirt I bought at Boar's Nest (or whatever it is called these days), which isn't official merchandise to my knowledge. Should I refrain from wearing it to games?
I would, to games at least. Have Wood or some other official come over and make ya turn it inside out heh.
It's a sweet shirt, but yeah, the fans can get the player/school in trouble.
I thought that's the case only if its officially licensed merchandise from the NCAA or university?
I think you can wear whatever you like, it's really no different than a sign. The trouble is you can't profit from it.
If it is ok to do, I think it woud be great to have a bunch of these made up as tee-shirts and all of us wear them to the ECU game. Since most of us have never met, it would be a great way to ID and meet each other while tailgating.
I didn't save the email but Dr. Selig did send one out that was very adamant that it is a very serious violation.
^I was looking through my emails and apparently I too must have deleted it.

Yes, but I think the issue was that the NCAA will then investigate and sometimes athletes are deemed ineligible until such investigation is completed.

Well that nixes that. I'd better make sure my tatoo of Heinicke doing the Heisman pose is well covered.
Yeap...last year the school sent out the email and people did have to turn their shirts inside out at the games if they wore one. The issue is the profit. You can't sell them near or around the school. They are considered bootleg and yeap because ncaa isn't getting a cut they sont want them sold. Also if promotes one person over the school and the ncaa.

Blah blah..but feel free to make signs that say the same thing and show them at tailgating or in the stadium. As long as no one compalins about their view being blocked.
It is not a violation.

It's a violation to profit from it.

Look at how many Florida fans made "tebow for heisman" jerseys and shirts.

They didnt get it any trouble at all.

You can make it and wear it, you just can't sell them for profit is my understanding.
Well -- lots of input and lots of confusion, but the question remains -- does anybody know where I can get one?
I wish I could find the email. For some reason my feeble memory is that it also included a problem with it being a tie in to an alcoholic beverage.

I believe the person that was making and selling them stopped. Since he was making a profit.
More importantly this would be a trademark violation.
I'm sure Heineken has their top lawyers on it.
