Transferred from Purdue after sitting out 2012 season as a redshirt.

Four-year letterman for coach Chip Killian at Hendrickson ... team won district championships his freshman and senior seasons ... three-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com … tabbed All-District 16-4A Second Team as a senior … had 61 tackles and eight sacks in 2010 … named All-Centex Third-Team and All-District First-Team as a junior.
Kingsley Ike is the brother of former longhorn RB, Victor Ike. (underutilized by Brown - no surprise there). He is from Pflugerville (just N of Austin) He was committed to Rice with offers from Purdue and TXST. Decommitted from Rice and ended up at Purdue but redshirted. With severe family concerns (illness) he asked to be able to transfer and came to TXST in the spring. He is awaiting a decision, on a waiver, from the NCAA.
Last heard, the decision will come sometime in July.
