I predicted a fourth place finish a few weeks ago. I reassessment is definitely in order. We have lost our starting center, our best shooting guard, and our sixth man "glue' guy. We have definitely lost a lot. Will the new guys and redshirts make up for what we lost? You got me. Losing Gillon is quite an unexpected blow. Best freshman scorer we have had in quite awhile.
My assessment is we should still win.

If not, time to re elect Obama and get us some change for better or worse.

I hate we lost 3 kids but we had so many that could play this brings the minutes up for the rest of the kids that are left.

Gus has been my pick for starting center for a while and this will force him to play.

JW will get more minutes and he has the most upside of anyone on the team, so play him.

WN will still play a bunch so nothing changed there.

We still have two pg’s. One is young but the future of the program and the other has done a lot of winning.

The 2/3 spot has 3 players that can play. Plus one that was hyped up for last year until he got hurt.

Guys I am moving to Hot Springs, so there has to be a product worth me driving back to Little Rock for. If the product is not better than watching OBU play then it will be hard for me to drive back to Little Rock.

Personally, I believe this team is just as good or better without the 3 players we lost because we were playing to many players for a team that did not press.

This season boils down to the same player as last year making an impact after he gets back from Mexico, Leeper. He has to give a good 20 minutes a game. He has to rebound and stay out of foul trouble.

For us to be better Will has to have the senior year I expected him to have when we signed him. We have some decent players, but the only one with star potential, other than Will, is James White. A good team, but far from a great one, unless those two really step it up.
Yes, those gujys have to produce but WN does not produce unless Will can play and let him move back to the outside and a pg that can break things down and get him the ball.
If Will has a good year with the 3-point shot, we will have a good year.
