Is there a possibility the announcers read here? I like their play by play and color but I wish they would give the score during the inning and not just between the innings.

Stephens has found the way to keep the pitch count down - don't pitch to very many batters. He is around 56 after five innings. If he can give us three more good innings, we should be in great shape. And Matulis has about 77 pitches through five. Not sure how good the pen is.
