i used to be right next to the student section; that worked fine for years as i was a recent grad. now it's time to george jefferson this experience and move up next to the old people (i keed, i keed).

i grabbed tickets in row 4 of section 210. good idea? bad idea? is there wisdom you'd like to share?

i'm no rookie, so save the talk about getting in my seats on time and avoiding bathroom lines. just trying to figure out if where i'm at is worth it or if you'd advise moving somewhere else.
A big group of Banter Posters sit up in the Pavilion and really seem to like it. I think it will work out well.

Those tickets should be solid. I like the view from the Shank. Kind of like sitting club level in most stadiums.
Good move JP.
I'd sit nowhere other than Shank. Easy in, easy out. Great sight lines.
The Pavilion is the only place I sit . Its great for all the above said reasons. Plus ...I love a sold out Nippert but on those non sellout days you can easily spill over to 212-215 and get some breathing room from those damn seat back cushions and being intimately close to those around you, without sacrificing the game view.

There I am..
Should be nice there. Personally, I hope to never lose current seats, section 119, 2nd row from top, aisle seats. 2 steps up, right across from the bathrooms and concession stand, within spitting distance of the pressbox. It's a bear to get to at times if you're late, but get there early (like true fans do), no issues at all.

Chris Emma‏@CEmmaFOX TV networks have explored moving #Purdue's game with #Cincinnati to Sunday. Nippert Stadium hosting high school games Friday.

Chris Emma‏@CEmmaFOX4m With Nippert Stadium busy 'til late Friday, seems #Purdue and #Cincinnati will play at night on Saturday or move to Sunday.
Yes to night on Saturday!

Those tickets are fine. But if your really gonna move on up as George Jefferson did, you should consider donating more and moving to the lower bowl. It's a much better view. My sister in law got two tickets in section 107 20 rows up.

I actually much prefer the Shank to the lower bowl. My seats used to be in 121 row 24 or 25. We had those for 2-3 years and I just got too crowded. We moved to the Shank for the last few years and I like the view much better. You can see the whole play as it's developing much better while still being able to recognize all the individual players. We decided that since our tickets are much cheaper, we'd add a couple extra tickets just to give to friends and family. It's worked out really well.
You will enjoy the Shank. My group has been in sec 209 for 5 years now. The view is fantastic - you are able to see the entire field and its extremely easy to see the plays develop on the field.
I might be crazy here but I felt the leg room in the Shank was horrible. To be fair, I had the sec 213.

I dont consider myself to be extremely tall (6'2") but I had to keep watching to make sure my knees didn't hit the lady in front of me. Maybe the sections closer to the 50 yard line are a little better. I moved to the lair a couple years ago and never looked back.

There is no leg room for any seats in Nippert.

Our section generally is standing.

Mine are in section 106 row 21 and they are great but when I was at the open house they had seats marked that were open and there were not to many in those sections so the availablity is not that great which is a good thing.
I am in row 11 of section 210. The seats are great. My wife keeps asking me to upgrade, but I like them just fine.
