Ryan Huck should've been sun belt player of the year.

Don't expect a lot of respect to be thrown our way. The team on the whole has been lack luster. I agree he deserved it, but I can understand the decision.

i wouldn't say lack luster but he shouldn't lose it because the rest of the team isn't burning it up. that should be more of a reason. also playing in a pitcher park. i saw at least 4 hr lost at home this year for him that would of been hrs at other parks and especially at middle.

No such statistic is tracked, home runs lost. It’s either going to be an extra base hit or a long out. And a legitimate case could be made for four or five athletes for Sun Belt Player of the Year.

I know Tigue Moore Field is known as a pitchers park, so that's been something our hitters have been living with for years.

My most humorous memories of this was when New Mexico State was in the conference. They were used to playing in their altitude advantaged park where medium fly balls turned into home runs. They came into the series at the "Tigue" leading the nation in HR's. Their catcher, who led them in HR's, hit a ball to left field and started into a HR trot on his way to first. The only problems was the ball was caught about 15' short of the warning track. This happened a number of times over the weekend Cajun sweep, but not to the degree of that first instance. As a fan, it was hilarious.
