Here's the message I got: "This husky was apparently abandoned by his owners. All attempts to locate owner have failed. The lady that took him in needs to find another place for him immediately, as she simply does not have the means or the proper place to keep him. Even now he's outside with nothing but a leaky shelter in the rain. Unfortunately she's unable to bring him inside because of her own dogs, & no crates available to keep him in inside.

Can you help me find a rescue or at least a temporary foster for him until we can find a permanent solution?

What a stunning dog. I don't know of a foster home, but I bet the Humane Society or another group would loan a crate.

The dog's name is Lyken. He was lost and reunited with his owner two months ago.

He is very young.

I get so aggravated when people abandon their pets for whatever reason.

He is so beautiful, someone will take him in. I would myself, but i already got 3 dogs. I just love blue eyed dogs (two of mine have blue eyes).

Thanks tmoney, that's helpful. I'll let them know his name if they don't already. And I know someone who will at least foster him if not adopt him outright, she has already been in touch. What's more, her son is a future potential Tiger recruit, to boot.

I thought that dog looked familiar. I remember that thread from before. Huskys are incredible looking dog. Hoping for the best for Lyken.

On a somewhat related note, my wife is absolutely obsessed with Q-Pon's husky puppy.
