Doesn't he have a third team as well?
Yikes no 1st or 2nd team offense. Yay for defense and special teams.

Sure he does, you can link the list if you want. I figured 1st and 2nd team would interest most on the board.

Interesting.

Completely unrelated:

ULM 3rd teamers: 4(15 total all teams)

Louisiana 3rd teamers: 1(12 total all teams)

04-cheers Hmmm... I believe stAte had 13 total as well.
Texas St has 6 on third team for 13 total.
No love for Troy or GSU though.

Robinson should be 1st team QB, not 3rd.

I think you can make the case that all 3 QB's could be 1st team.

They are all three very good. I think Robinson has been the best over a longer span and is punished somewhat because his team has struggled. QBs get all the glory and all the blame frequently.
No worries...we have everything under control...04-bolt

The problem is our backup might be better. What do you do when you have a senior record breaking QB in Robinson (also set a New Orleans Bowl Record at the time) and another senior in Deon Anthony that has the arm and the feet to score in bunches? Play the guy that's been here longer I guess.
Will be interesting to see how Albert Wilson does when its said and done. Wouldn't doubt a couple DL making the post season list either.

Edit: Looks like we places 5 players on the 3 lists.

Surprising that Grant King made it OT when our other OT Ulrick John is the most likely player off this team to get drafted in 2014.
As far as Troy getting no love, Troy is 124th out of 125 in returning starters according to Phil Steele. Not exactly accurate, but close. When most of your guys are unknowns, you're not going to land a ton on the pre-season lists. I think Troy will finish better than 2nd to last. We have talent, and some new, better coaches, they are just unproven.

We play Arkansas State in week 3 and don't play another good SBC team until week 8 at WKU. Those weeks will give our new guys some time to gel.
The "returning starters" lists you see are rarely accurate and mean very little. Everyone claimed stAte had fewer returning starters on defense than anyone around last year even though that wasn't really the case. Worked out fine.
