Just watched the reveal. Next gen console looks amazing. COD Ghosts look unbelievable. They showed a side by side comparison of the last COD engine and the new one. So much to take in and more to come in 19 days at E3.

Quote:After months of speculation, Microsoft finally revealed its next-generation console today: the Xbox One.

Microsoft called the system an "all in one system" for games, entertainment, and television.

The system includes 8GB of RAM, an 8-Core CPU, a 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, HDMI in and out ports, USB 3.0, 802.11n wireless, and more. It also includes a new version of the Kinect sensor.

Sexy looking beast.

I wonder if that's 8GB GDDR5 like Sony's next console or the poor man's DDR3. Would make a world of difference in multi-plat titles.
HALO live action TV series done by Steven Spielberg exclusive to XBOX ONE.

What's this deal they have with the NFL?

The way I took it you can watch the games and link your fantasy team to it some how. While watching you get live stats for the players as they score points. They are making the games interactive somehow. I'm sure there will be more explained at E3.
Well there is this...

One other thing I learned off camera: Xbox One is not backwards compatible with 360.
If y'all have Madden questions hit me up. I communicate with some of the developers and past developers on a daily basis.

If you can watch all Sunday NFL games on it, like Direct TV, that would be awesome. Sign a bruh up if that's the case.

Hopefully they will and cost will be included with your Live membership.

Microsoft is going with the 5GB DDR3.

I don't need a social media hub. I have a computer and phone for that. Just give me good games.

Big mistake, IMO..

uh oh

Ready to connect to the internet once a day?

Microsoft pissing off indie devs.

Not impressed at all. If they end up charging a fee for used games people will flip. The graphics aren't that impressive on cod ghosts, especially when you look at how awesome the battlefield 4 demo is. The PS4 racing game also blew the xbox one out of the water too in my opinion. I don't need all that other crap to play games. It's early but I'm leaning towards PS4 right now.

The social media thing isn't Xbox exclusive. Sony spent a good 30 minutes talking about all the ways they've integrated social media into the PS4 at their press conference. Hell, the controller even has a 'share' button front and center.

I wouldn't get caught up in the internet war over whats going to be better. Not alot of unbiased opinions out there. Tons of fanboys. Waste of time. To me, they both have different things that matter more to some than others. For example, some people already hate the Xbox One because it isn't backwards compatible. That means very little to me because I play mostly sports games and first person shooters. I never once inserted a PS2 disc into my PS3 or an original Xbox game into my 360. It just doesn't matter to me. To some, it might be the deciding factor.

PS Share is a good feature to post videos of what you play on Youtube and on the PSN network for your friends to see. Most people want to do that, they just don't have the set up or necessary devices to record their game play with audio and then upload it.

Xbox one seems focused on being the do it all game system. That could be what many want, but I want the focus of my console to be on Games, not watching TV and kinect. You have to connect once a day or else you may be locked out of online play? Plus the specs on the PS4 are better. I admit to being a Sony fanboy, but I have had both Xbox360 (before it got the red ring of death) and the PS3 and enjoyed both, but really the PS4 seems to be winning the early battle for next gen.

E3 is coming soon, I expect prices to come out and then we will really get an idea of what console will dominate. PS4 is still getting more interest because they are waiting to show what the console actually looks like. I have nothing against Microsoft, but I think most game developers are more excited by Sony and that is evident in how many have reacted to the reveals so far.

I think most people that have an Xbox360 will stick with MS, and most PS3 players will go with Sony, but the new gaming generation is what matters and I think PS4 has the edge. It doesn't really matter though, because both are going to be awesome, but for my money it's going to be PS4.
Looks like XBONE is using 8GB DDR3 but PS4 has 50% more raw graphic power.

Did I fall into geek hell?? You guys know way too much about gaming, so much apparently that you fall into the "get a life" category. I'm impressed, I'm still playing the original MOHAA online.

Ironic comment considering you are posting on an internet forum right now.

Pro Tip: don't call out others for needing to get a life when you are wasting your time online calling out other nerds
