In their latest updates, CBSSports.com has Heinicke ranked the No. 18 QB for the 2015 draft while NFLdraftscout.com has him ranked at No. 19. This moves him up about 30 spots from where they had him last year. Give him two more good years and two more jumps in the rankings, and he may be looking at being drafted somewhere in the first three rounds.

You gotta love it!

That's pretty freaking awesome considering he hasn't played a down of fbs football yet.

These guys recognize greatness. My guess is he will only continue to climb in the rankings, especially if he impresses against unc, Maryland, Pitt and ECU.
It is definitely good to see his name on there (well, CBS has him as TYLER), but remember that usually only 10-12 QBs are drafted in any given year, so let's hope he continues to move up the list.

# drafted:
2012: 11
2011: 12
2010: 14
2009: 11
2008: 13
I think only 7 were drafted this season with Tyler Bray going undrafted. Next year looks to be a bigger year forqbs in the draft.
This is kind of high orders here but if the stats are duplicated this season.... he'll be alright draft wise.
Let's just hope his supporting cast does their job in helping him show how good he can be.

As talented as TH is, this rings true more than ever. He won't be able to perform at his best (and the level we have come to expect) if the pocket collapses early or if the receivers drop his passes. If the running game doesn't show up, maybe he can't carry the team by himself on a given night. If the defense doesn't show up, he'll have to pull a record-setting performance to pull out the win. Heinicke is our centerpiece, but we need other pieces active on the board to get him to where he needs to be.
